Why such a program?

Oh yes, all sopranos dream of being tenor – at least once in their life when, during a performance, the tenor colleague takes his public by storm with just one aria! How different tenor arias are from soprano arias! Here we get the determination of Calaf´s “Nessun dorma!” versus Liu´s submissiveness while singing ”Signore ascolta!”. There you hear the duke´s carefree words in “La donna è mobile” and Gilda´s timid longing for love in “Caro nome”, or Rudolfo´s “peppy” behavior while singing “Che gelida manina”, whereas Mimi introduces herself with a rather shy “Mi chiamano Mimi”.

True, we love our dear tenor colleagues but singing their repertoire? Yet, we took the risk. So let’s plunge together into the adventure and let us try to enchant you , to take you into the tenor kingdom of Domingo, Pavarotti, Carreras and many more. By the end of this very special concert you will perhaps agree:

Pourquoi ce programme?

Depuis toujours les sopranos rêvent des airs de ténor qui ont toujours un effet électrisant sur le public. Ces airs pleins de passion, pleins d´impétuosité et de vigueur. Mais quelle différence entre la détermination d´un Nessun dorma et la douceur d´un Signore ascolta, entre l´insouciance d´un La donna è mobile et la nostalgie de l´amour dans Gualtier Maldé, ou entre le comportement fringant d´un Rodolfo dans Che gelida manina et la timidité d´une Mimi dans Mi chiamano Mimi… !!!

Bien sûr, on les adore nos collègues, les ténors, mais chanter leur répertoire…?

Warum dieses Programm?

Schon immer träumen Soprane davon, als Tenor „wiedergeboren“ zu werden. Wie anders doch Tenorarien auf das Publikum wirken als Sopranarien! Hier das entschlossene „Nessun dorma!“, dort das liebliche „Signore ascolta“, dann wieder die Unbekümmertheit in „La donna è mobile“ und die sehnsuchtsvolle Arie „Caro nome“, das forsche Auftreten eines Rodolfo in „Che gelida manina“ und die Schüchternheit Mimis in „Mi chiamano Mimi“.

Wir lieben unsere Tenorkollegen sehr. Aber Ihr Repertoire singen? Und nun haben wir es doch gewagt. Stürzen Sie sich also mit uns in das Abenteuer und lassen Sie sich bezaubern, sich entführen ins Reich Domingos, Pavarottis, Carreras´.
